Family and Youth Health Initiative (FAYOHI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established to become part of the campaign for reducing preventable diseases and deaths in Nigeria, especially areas that have not been impacted by on-going health programmes in the country. Our first target state is Jigawa, the choice of the target state arose after careful analyses and consideration of the health disparities existing in the country, and over time we hope to open offices in other states that are struggling from wide health inequalities.
Our programmes revolve around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 and 6.
At FAYOHI, we know that we can't succeed alone, therefore, we are forging partnerships with Governments, International and local NGOs, as well as reputable Institutions of learning in Nigeria and arounfd the world to achieve our objectives.
"To become the leading indigenous non-governmental organisation in remotest areas of Nigeria pushing for a reduction in morbidity and mortality from preventable diseases"
"To enable a significant number of residents in our target areas to lead healthier lives through capacity building, research, health promotion, and health systems strengthening"
